The Production class of 2018 of The Art Institute of California- Sacramento Presents
HardBoiled
This animation is a variation of Humpty Dumpty, but if he was a Daredevil. The original pitch was by Perla Garcia, and we all did a variation of the story in storyboards, and kind of mashed them all together.
We took a lot of inspiration from Evel Knievel, Warner Bros' Road Runner and Wile E Coyote cartoons, as well as Pink Panther. We were going to originally use Super Chicken and Rocky and Bullwinkle style of drawing for the characters, but we ended up using the genius of one of our teammate's style.

We already had a challenge before we started production: we had a small team. But big things come in small packages. We all felt intimidated and uneasy about not having enough teammates, but we asked around and were able to add two more to our team.
